COLUMBUS — The Ohio Division of Pure Sources (ODNR) Division of Water Sources’ new on-line software for water withdrawal reporting and facility registration is now obtainable at apps.ohiodnr.gov/wwd.
Water customers throughout the state can now use the app to file annual water use reviews, view previous reviews, replace data for energetic services and register new services.
“This new digital course of will save customers time in addition to stamps when reporting water use yearly,” Chief of the Division of Water Sources Dena Barnhouse mentioned. “We’ll proceed to search for methods to enhance and replace the reporting app and supply stakeholders and the general public with instruments to extend effectivity and transparency.”
Ohio Revised Code requires any facility with the capability to withdrawal 100,000 gallons per day or extra of floor water or floor water to register with ODNR and file an annual report – due March 1 yearly – itemizing the power’s precise water use. This information helps the Division’s Water Stock and Planning Program monitor water use and provide and contributes to statewide water conservation efforts.
